Neurologist

Dr. Dubbioso is assistant professor and head of the Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) unit of Federico II University Hospital of Naples. He collaborates in the research and clinical activity of IRCCS ICS Maugeri Telese, Italy. He has well-known expertise in the field of neurophysiology with a specific interest in the use of non-invasive brain stimulation techniques as a tool to understand neurological diseases affecting the human sensory-motor system and to obtain possible biomarkers to study disease severity and predict its progression. He also led or participated in national and international projects on motor control and cortical stimulation in humans as well as in patients with ALS. He got several national and international awards in the field of clinical neurophysiology: young researcher awards at the Italian society of clinical neurophysiology (SINC), European Society of Clinical Neurophysiology (ECCN) and European Academy of Neurology (EAN). He also had the opportunity to organize national meetings for SINC and got several invitations for peer reviewed internationally established conferences: EAN, SINC, and Organization for Human Brain Mapping (OHBM).
