Francisco Javier Rodriguez de Rivera Garrido

Trained in Neurology at Hospital Universitario La Paz in Madrid, Dr. Francisco Javier Rodríguez de Rivera was appointed coordinator of the multidisciplinary ALS Unit created in this same hospital in February 2006, leading the development of a clinical care pathway for patients treated in the Network of ALS units of the Community of Madrid. In 2014, with the merge with Hospital Carlos III, he was appointed coordinator of Neuromuscular Diseases area of the consortium between both centers. Also in 2014 he is appointed coordinator of the National Reference Center for Hereditary Ataxias and Spastic Paraplegias.
