Aside from the assistance tasks assessing lung function, anticipating respiratory muscle failure, and providing mechanical ventilation, Juana Martínez Llorens research activities are in line of the study of respiratory muscle function, being one of the few centers at the state level that assiduously performs invasive and non-invasive examinations to determine and diagnose respiratory muscle dysfunction in neuromuscular patients as well as in other diseases.
