Neuropsychologist, PhD and senior researcher at the Fondazione I.R.C.C.S. Istituto Neurologico Carlo Besta (FINCB) of Milan. Between 2008 and 2009 I was research associate at the Department of Psychological Medicine and Psychiatry of King’s College London, and PhD candidate at the Max Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain Sciences in Leipzig where I became skilled in analyzing data of structural MRI and EEG. My research activities are mainly focused on the study of the cognitive and behavioral profiles of patients with neurodegenerative diseases and chronic pain, with the aim to identify risk factors and anatomical correlates of cognitive-behavioral alterations.
