University Hospital Virgen del Rocío

The multidisciplinary ALS Unit at Hospital Virgen del Rocío carries out intense activity at a clinical level, caring for more than 150 patients a year, from across the geographical area of ​​Southern Spain. In a complementary way, the team develops lines of translational research, of a more basic orientation, at the Institute of Biomedicine of Seville, always having the patient at the center of all research studies. Our team is constantly collaborating with patient associations being part of different scientific committees.
