The highway towards a cure
TRICALS aims to open clinical trials to all people with ALS!
Register as a patientAbout TRICALS
TRICALS (Treatment Research Initiative to Cure ALS) is the largest European research initiative to find a cure for ALS.
Currently, less than 5% of people living with ALS participate in clinical trials. By working together with pharmaceutical companies and more than 60 ALS centres across Europe, TRICALS aims to open clinical trials to all people with ALS.
Why participate in a trial?
TRICALS aims to speed up the development of new medicines for ALS. To do this effectively, the direct involvement of people with ALS is essential and urgent. Each person with ALS holds an important piece of the puzzle, and putting the puzzle together will help us to find new and more effective treatments. You can help by registering with TRICALS. After receiving your permission, we will inform you about trials that are recruiting patients in your country.
There is strength in unity
"Although there are only few of us, if we all contribute a grain of sand, in the end we can build a beach. If we all contribute a little and make an effort, we can help to find a solution together."

The perfect network to unite
"TRICALS is a great initiative that enables forces to join and shows patients things can and must change. I hope TRICALS will bring more unity among various ALS researches, and will create transparency between patients, researchers and pharma, resulting in more research and more medicine trials."
