Professor López de Munain is a leading clinical neurologist specializing in neuromuscular and neurodegenerative diseases, including ALS, Parkinson’s disease, and dementias. With over 220 peer-reviewed publications, 25 book chapters, and 400+ conference presentations, he combines extensive clinical expertise with a strong research track record.
He serves as R&D Director at the ILUNDAIN Foundation for Neurological Studies, Principal Investigator at CIBERNED, and Director of the Donostia Node of the Basque Biobank. Founder of several national research networks, he actively contributes to advancing neurological science and improving patient care.
