Davide Vilella
Neuropsychologist

Davide Vilella is the clinical neuropsychologist at the Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases and Brain Aging since 2022.
Dr Vilella graduated in “Neuropsychology and Neuroscience” at the University of Turin and obtained a 2nd level Master in “Neurology and Clinical Neuroscience” at the Queen Square Institute of Neurology – UCL London, specializing in the school of “Neuropsychology, Psychophysiology and Cognitive-Behavioral Psychotherapy”. From 2018 to 2022 he worked as a Clinical Psychologist at the Memory Clinic of Charing Cross Hospital in London.
Dr Vilella is involved in several randomized clinical trials as main rater. His research activity is mainly focused in the experimental studies on non-pharmacological interventions, including trials on transcranial electrical stimulation and virtual reality, psychological support and cognitive rehabilitation for patients and caregivers. In addition, he coordinates the scientific activities within the Puglia Region “Dementia National Plan” and is the responsible for professional training.
