Neurologist

Dr. Eleonora Rollo is a neurologist at Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases and the Aging Brain of University of Bari “Aldo Moro” at Pia Fondazione “Card. G. Panico”. She is currently a PhD Student in Neurosciences at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, in Rome. She is a Sleep Medicine Expert certified by the European Sleep Research Society and Fellow of the European Board of Neurology. She holds a 2-level Master degree in Intensive Care Neurology. Her activity at the Centre for Neurodegenerative Diseases involves the care of patients with neurodegenerative diseases, including ALS patients, Sleep Clinic management and participation in several international randomized clinical trials as Sub-Investigator. Her research activity is focused on sleep in neurodegenerative disorders. Her research is aimed at identifying biomarkers connecting sleep to neurodegeneration. She is currently involved in several research lines, including research projects on ALS.
