Teresa Salas

In September 1997, neuropsychologist Dr. Teresa Salas began to collaborate as a volunteer at Hospital Carlos III ALS Unit, directed by Dr. Jesus S. Mora. Thanks to the financial support of a patients’ association and FUNDELA, she went from being a volunteer to performing jobs that were more in line with her education. This included doing psychological intervention, neuropsychological evaluations, participating in clinical trials and other research activities mostly in the field of cognitive impairment and quality of life assessment. She has coordinated the projects for the validation and Spanish adaptation of ALSFRS-R, ALSAQ-40, ECAS and  DAS scales.
